  • Overview:

On April 11, 1994, the Minister of Energy previously signed the decision to establish the National Load Despatch Centre under the Ministry of Energy with the number one task of operating the production, distribution of power in the National Network to achieve optimal technical and economic results; Ensure the National Network is operating continuously, reliably and safely. In December 1998, the NLDC received the LDC No. 03 in the North, Central and South, undertook the direct task of directing all the mobilization of the capacity of all electricity generators across the country and entire power transmission systems from 66 to 500 kV. In 2004, the Center was in charge of the function of designing the internal electricity market of Vietnam Electricity and directly operated this electricity market from January 2007 to July 2007.
